Happy Birthday, Ho Ho Ho
Oh, and I turned 30 yesterday.
We had a quiet family meal at a little place in town... Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's. It surpassed expectations and raised the spirits of all who attended. The food was magnificent, and the service attentive and friendly. We had a pre-starter of the creamiest pumpkin soup with white mushrooms, then I had celeric risotto, venison (from the Balmoral estate) with honey roasted vegetables, a pre-dessert of banoffee mouse and a selection of ice creams for dessert proper. We finished up with mince pies, chocolates and coffee.
Needless to say we then had to roll ourselves home.
