Released from captivity
This summer I got into Amazon marketplace (a great way of picking up cheap second hand books for school without having to leave your sofa), and now I have just popped my cherry on BookMooch. Quite painless and there is something about sending a book to a stranger that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside (but that might just be the residual effect of my big arsed coat).
It is all very straight forward: you list the books you want release, list the books you'd like to mooch and then the techno elves work their magic. Even though I am an unrepentant hoarder I am going to try and list any books that I have started but will never finished or ones that I've finished but didn't really float my boat. After three years lanquishing in my stacks and two abortive attempts I set free Rushdie's Midnight's Children and with my point I have my eye on an Inspector Lynley mystery.
