Twelve things to do before Christmas
Whilst queueing in a lower circle of hell yesterday for twenty overseas stamps* I decided to compile my to do list for the week (in an aggressively Christmassy manner):
One farewell dinner to attend,
Two presents left to purchase,
Three rooms to be tided,
Fours bags need repacking,
Five Roman art topics to be studied,
Six loads of laundry,
Seven chapters needing reading,
Eight gifts to be wrapped,
Nine-ty minute yoga class to be taken,
Ten hours of TV on the DVR to watch,
Eleven piles of junk mail needing shredding, and
Twelve mince pies to be consumed on Friday night in London.
*Given that America is a nation of immigrants you'd think the Post Office would expand their holiday stamp collection to include the 84 cents.

Yay, you're coming to Blighty for Christmas, you must be excited.
Can't imagine that you'll be swinging by this far North, but if you are, we'd love to feed you again.
I like your 12 days of Christmas things to do.
And hurrah, you tagged your post "aggresively christmassy".
I like it.
I am heading up to Lockerbie for a 5 hour appearance at a family do but wont be able to make it over to BokkerTh3G-chester. (And a meal at yours would be more fun!).
But, I think that we might make it up North some time in '07 :)
Wow, didn't realise your stop in Lockerbie would be so brief.
Shame we can't make it up there and BokkerTh3g-chester is not en-route for you, would be great to see you in 2007.
I hope you are getting through your 12 days of Christmas to do!
